As part of an information event with Imagine Horsens concerning how to reduce food and energy waste, the SURE! project presented and received feedback on some of the concepts that are being considered in the project to engage the tenants.
Nearly 20 participants representing five housing associations in Horsens were present at the event, which was arranged by Imagine Horsens. The aim of the event was for tenants to learn how they can save housekeeping money by reducing the waste of resources like food and energy – while also protecting the environment. Among the participants were some representatives from the housing association Odinsgaard that is part of the SURE! project.
After a short presentation of the project, representatives from Insero and Interactive Institute divided the participants into two groups in order to get their feedback and opinions on some of the concepts and ideas that are being considered to engage the tenants in the project. The groups also had to discuss what would attract their attention and get them to commit to the process of saving energy, thus living in a more sustainable way as well as with a better indoor climate.
The participants were very committed to the task and offered some valuable and interesting feedback to the concepts, which the project will definitely be able to use in the upcoming design and development phase.
